What does CASA mean to you?
"What does CASA mean to me? CASA means having an opportunity to make a difference in the world by helping one child at a time. I have a big heart for kids, and especially those who have dealt with tough situations or unfavorable experiences in their life. Everyone deserves to feel loved, and CASA provides the needed love and relief to children who are thrown into the court system by no fault of their own. I love supporting something bigger than myself, and seeing the outcome of the time and heart put into this incredible organization. I am a Theta & I am for the child."
Delta Eta has a strong commitment to helping the Sunflower CASA which supports the Riley, Clay, and Potawattamie County area. Delta Eta has donated more than $75,000 to Sunflower CASA over the past five years. This pas Fall, we put on our 20th annual 5K, WildKAT Chase! We were so very excited to see this event turn 20 years old this year and look forward to keeping this tradition alive. In it's twentieth year, we're thrilled to announce that WildKAT Chase raised $17,742.85! Last Spring 2016, we debuted a new event that we are calling CASApalooza! It was a block party with a six bouncy houses, carnival food, and yard games. In it's first year, we are so proud to announce that CASApalooza raised $7,621.49!
In the 2016 Academic Year, Delta Eta raised $25,364.35!
